Co-Founder and Principal Dave Clayman was recently awarded the Certified 401(k) Professional designation, or C(k)P®, by The Retirement Advisor University in collaboration with the UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. The C(k)P® designation distinguishes financial professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge and experience to favorably impact the outcome of corporate retirement plans.
The standards for the Certified 401(k) Professional designation are established by the C(k)P® Standards & Certification Committee. In addition to academic aptitude, C(k)P® professionals are required to demonstrate a real-world application of the core competencies taught in the classroom. They are expected to maintain a high degree of knowledge and ability in business management, technical competence and optimizing plan outcomes.
“The C(k)P® designation is important because it signifies a practiced knowledge of the latest trends in employee education, retirement preparation, retirement plan design, and financial wellness,” says Clayman. “Our firm’s commitment to ongoing education allows us to continue to meet our clients where they are and serve them in their best interests.”
